Robby Hoffman Sets New Netflix Special for 2027

Translate

Robby Hoffman is returning to Netflix with another stand-up comedy special.

Premiering sometime in 2027, it will mark Hoffman’s second hour for the streamer, following her 2025 special “Robby Hoffman: Wake Up,” which was directed by John Mulaney.

Hoffman has become a force in stand-up comedy, her observational wit and riled-up kvetching drawing comparisons to a young, queer Larry David. In 2025, she was named one of Variety‘s 10 Comics to Watch.

Outside of her stand-up career, Hoffman is best known for starring in the last two seasons of HBO’s “Hacks” as Jimmy and Kayla’s assistant, Randi. Hoffman earned an Emmy nomination for outstanding guest actress in a comedy series for the role.

She also stars in HBO’s Steve Carell comedy “Rooster” and appeared opposite Michelle Williams in the FX limited series “Dying for Sex.” Hoffman is also currently developing “UnEntitled,” a new series she is writing, executive producing and set to star in.

On Netflix, Hoffman appeared on the sitcom “Workin’ Moms” as well as Mulaney’s live talk show “Everybody’s Live With John Mulaney.” She has also headlined at Netflix’s biennial stand-up comedy festival Netflix Is a Joke.
