Mickie James set to appear at TNA's Bound for Glory as incredible matches lined up on card

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) legend Mickie James will appear at Bound for Glory next weekend as the company prepares for its biggest show of the year.

During "Impact" on Thursday, TNA aired a vignette that showed an older logo on a crate. When the crate opened, a strong beam of light appeared. When the light went dark, a white cowgirl hat and a denim jacket appeared. A woman took the hat and placed it on her head.

James’ "Hardcore Country" entrance theme played and fans knew exactly who was in the video.

The legendary women’s wrestler had multiple stints in TNA. She joined the company initially in 2002 while TNA was under the National Wrestling Alliance banner. She worked there for about a year before moving to WWE.

James returned to TNA in 2010, immediately getting into a feud with Madison Rayne. She defeated Rayne to win the TNA Knockouts Championship in April 2011, becoming the first woman in pro wrestling history to hold the TNA Knockouts Championship, WWE Women’s Championship and WWE Divas Championship. She’s a five-time Knockouts champion.

She was also with the company from 2021 to 2023. Earlier this year, she battled the Elegance Brand at No Surrender and the "Impact" episodes afterward.

Her appearance is just one of the many highlights set for Bound for Glory next week. The event takes place Sunday, Oct. 11, at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.

There are four championships on the line, including a six-way scramble for the vacant TNA X Division Championship which will feature Fabian Aichner, KC Navarro, Cedric Alexander, Rich Swann, Ryan Nemeth and BDE; a Knockouts Championship match between Xia Brookside and Indi Hartwell; a four-way match for the TNA International Championship among Mustafa Ali, Jason Hotch, John Skyler and Special Agent Zero; and Nic Nemeth defending the TNA World Championship against Leon Slater.

Elsewhere, Ricky Sosa will take on Eddie Edwards, Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw go up against The Hardys in a Falls Count Anywhere match and a Call Your Shot Gauntlet will be held with the winner getting a future championship match.
