Director Lokesh Kanagaraj unveiled the trailer of his 'Kaithi' actor Arjun Das on Tuesday and extended his wishes to the cast and crew. Sharing the trailer, he wrote, "Elated to present the trailer of #JohnDoe.

The trailer was released at the film's pre-release event, where the makers also confirmed its theatrical release date as November 13.

Arjun Das uncovers a serial murder mystery in 'John Doe'

The story follows Arjun Das's character, who takes charge of a missing boy's case. What initially appears to be an isolated incident takes a shocking turn when the investigation points towards several other missing children. The trailer shows how the case could be connected to a serial murder spree involving 17 other children. Sanchana Natarajan, Zaara Vineet and Srishti are also part of the story, while Anupama Kumar, Archana Chandhoke, Badava Gopi and Niirav S play important roles.

The film is directed by Madhumita, who co-wrote the screenplay with Nicholas Chevallier.
