‘Reckless’: Prince Harry’s spokesperson slams paparazzi at kids’ school

A spokesperson for Prince Harry has slammed two press photographers seen outside his children’s UK school.

PRINCE HARRY’S SPOKESPERSON SLAMS PAPARAZZI AT KIDS’ SCHOOL

In a statement to ABC News, Prince Harry’s spokesperson called the photographers’ conduct “extraordinarily reckless”. The two men were reportedly seen monitoring pupils from the school’s perimeter.

“The decision by photographers to conduct themselves in this way around a school is extraordinarily reckless,” the spokesperson said in a statement to ABC News Wednesday.

The spokesperson separated ordinary press work from what they said had happened here and photographers circling a school, allegedly looking into the grounds and watching children. Prince Harry has two children Archie (7), and Lilibet (5) with wife Meghan Markle. The two children are in school in the UK after the family moved back from the US. The move from California came in late August.

“There is a world of difference between legitimate media activity and photographers walking the perimeter of a school, stopping to look into the grounds and monitoring children as they go about their day.”

“Whatever photographs they may have been seeking, this was not only an unacceptable intrusion into the privacy of children; it was an irresponsible and ill-considered way to conduct themselves in the vicinity of a school.”

The statement also raised the wider issue of privacy. The spokesperson said it was concerning that “certain European paparazzi appear unwilling to respect the privacy of children at school.”

ARCHIE AND LILIBET CHANGE SCHOOLS IN UK

This comes just after the news of Archie and Lilibet being happy at their new school. Speaking to CTV News in Canada after skydiving near Toronto to raise money for two veterans’ charities, Prince Harry said it was “great to be back on British soil.”

He also gave an update on his family settling in to the UK.

“The kids are happy in school.”

He added that it lets him focus on the Invictus Games, which is set to to take place in Birmingham in July 2027.
