Homicide cops take woman into custody after man hit by vehicle dies
A woman has been arrested after a man she knew was run over and died on a suburban street west of Brisbane.
The 50-year-old victim was struck on Stoneywood Street in Fernvale before 6pm on Sunday.
Emergency teams were called to the area but he died at the scene.
A crime scene was established and police took a 45-year-old woman, who was known to the man, into custody.
Police said she was assisting with inquiries.
