Netflix is changing the way it's approaching movies.
Multiple sources have told Variety that Netflix's Head of Film, Dan Lin, has been dismissed from his role after three years. The news arrives after 1,000 employees lost their jobs, as well as the shocking dismissal of chief content officer Bela Bajaria. Lin was last seen attending a screening for La Bola Negra on the Netflix campus on October 18. At the time of writing, it's unclear who will be replacing Lin in his role, with Netflix not commenting on the current situation.
