GMB's Laura Tobin borrowed Susanna Reid's dress - and it’s a high street favourite

Good Morning Britain’s Laura Tobin attended the Best Heroes Awards last night and – in front of a crowd including Lizzie Cundy, Kristina Rihanoff and Debbie McGee – accepted her own award for raising awareness of climate change.
Stepping up to receive her trophy, Laura’s speech revealed one big detail about her outfit – she’d borrowed it from co-star Susanna Reid’s extensive wardrobe!

When accepting her Best Heroes Award, Laura told the crowd: "At the end of the year, it’ll be three years of me buying no new clothes at work and at home."
Later to Digital Spy, she said: "I just wear what I have, hiring for events and obviously borrowing from friends."
For last night’s awards, the outfit in question was a navy one-shouldered dress from Club L, which Susanna previously wore to the Royal Television Society Awards in March 2024.

"Susanna has given me many clothes in the past," added Laura, with the list including tops, dress and shoes. "It’s like having a big sister," the GMB weather reporter revealed.
Susanna’s not the only GMB presenter whose wardrobe Laura has delved into. "I borrowed a top from Kate [Garraway] for an award do last year, but didn’t tell her and she was laughing the next day when she saw the photos," Laura told Digital Spy.
"I also borrowed my dress for Chelsea [Flower Show] this year from Charlotte [Hawkins]," she said. With Charlotte having a wardrobe filled with beautiful dresses, we’re not surprised!
The dress itself is no longer in stock on Club L, but the retailer has several similar options online that you can buy and wear (again and again)…
