Glastonbury 2027: Who is rumoured to be on the lineup?

Translate

With the first set of Glastonbury tickets already sold and general admission about to go on sale, hype for the beloved five-day spectacle is higher than ever.

Whilst the dates and the price - which has been hiked from previous years - have been announced, one thing remains to be disclosed: who will be headlining?

In 2025, the previous headliners were The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo, with a fallow year taken this year to allow the land to recover.

In August, organiser Emily Evis revealed that all headliners have been booked. “We're very excited about it - it's all coming together really well,” she said.

Here’s everything that we know so far about who could be hitting the stage at Worthy Farm next year.

Madonna

Madonna had been highly tipped to make an appearance at Worthy Farm, especially after the pop icon entered the charts again with her new record Confessions II, which saw collaborations with other pop legends such as Sabrina Carpenter and Charlie XCX.

The 68-year-old even appeared to drop a major hint that she could be heading to the UK’s largest festival whilst being interviewed on The Graham Norton Show. She told the host that she had “something big” planned for June 2027.

However, Eavis has shut down rumours that the “Like a Virgin” singer will be heading to the farm.

“No, it's definitely not Madonna, I'll tell you that,” she told BBC Radio 4's PM programme this summer.

Harry Styles

The singer has yet to perform at the festival, and many think 2027 could see him kick off his Glastonbury journey with a bang.

Styles is due to wrap up the North American leg of his Together, Together tour in May, before heading to Europe to continue to run off shows in July - leaving his June fairly available.

Back in 2024, an insider told The Sun that Eavis has wanted to secure Styles for a while “but the dates have never quite worked out”.

The former One Direction star is priced at 4/6 by Gambling.com, giving him an implied probability of 60 per cent.

Sam Fender

The Tyneside musician is no stranger to Glastonbury, having played at the Pyramid Stage in 2022 ahead of Billie Eilish’s headlining slot.

Since then, his career has continued to reach new heights, including winning the Mercury Prize in 2025, and having his duet with Olivia Dean, “Rein Me In,” becoming the longest-running Number 1 single in UK chart history.

Fender, who is rumoured to be working on his fourth studio album currently, is priced at 6/4 odds.

Robbie Williams

The former Take That singer is rumoured to be eyeing up the Sunday “Legends” slot, following his appearance at the FIFA World Cup Final closing ceremony.

2027 would also mark a huge year for Williams, whose debut album Life Thru a Lens is celebrating its 30th birthday next year.

He is currently playing concert dates in Lancashire and Limerick in July 2027, scheduled just a week after the weekend the festival falls.

Williams, who is priced at 2/1 odds has openly campaigned for the coveted Sunday legend slot on podcasts like Robbie Williams Rewind, saying that he is confident he would "slaughter" the performance.

The Irish rockband are also hotly tipped to be headliners, with odds of 5/1, just three years after they performed at The Park Stage in 2024.

Their electric performance achieved widespread critical acclaim, with many dubbing them as future main-stage headliners.

Fontaines are set to release their fifth studio album Dopamine Chamber later this month, and will soon hit the road for an accompanying tour which will see them perform shows at Heaton Park in Manchester and London Stadium.

Their show at Slane Castle on 26 June, takes place the day after Glastonbury 2027 concludes.

Oasis

The Britpop band have been making headlines as of late after announcing their 2027 tour, which has sent the internet ablaze as fans all across the world scrambled to get tickets.

Their summer tour will see them perform across 42 different dates, and many have been hoping that they would be able to squeeze in a trip to Worthy Farm amongst it all.

However, Eavis has ruled this out. When asked by a fan on Instagram if Oasis would be taking one of the headliner slots, she replied: “Sorry Jimmy, not this time!”

Sabrina Carpenter

The pop princess is fresh off a headlining slot at Coachella, and many think she could be a shoe-in following the bookings of Olivia Rodrigo, Dua Lipa and SZA in recent years.

She has yet to appear at the festival, though her hit singles Espresso and Please Please Please were dominating the charts back in 2024 during the festival window.

Three years on, she has a string of hits under her belt, could Carpenter, whose odds are 5/1, be the female headliner we are expecting?
