Ghanaian midfielder Michael Baidoo made his injury return for Plymouth Argyle in their heavy win over Alvechurch in the English FA Cup on Saturday.

Baidoo returned with a bang as he scored in his side's 4-0 hammering of the lower-tier side in the cup competition.

The midfielder had been out of action since August, when he came off injured after 30 minutes in the friendly against Bristol City following an injury.

The 27-year-old had missed the last 18 games of his club due to his time on the sidelines.

However, he made a comeback in the FA Cup first-round victory, which sees them advance into the next stage of th competition.

Baidoo was introduced into the game in the 61st minute of the encounter and scored 17 minutes later to make it 3-0 after Will Evans' second half double.

The Ghanaian will be hoping to get more game time following his return from injury.
