‘That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime’ Comic Vol. 33 Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard Japan Book Hot 100

The manga adaptation of the popular “TenSura” light novel series logs its third No. 1 on the tally. The volume lands in the top 10 across three metrics, hitting No. 1 in both brick-and-mortar and e-books and No. 10 in e-commerce (EC).

Last week’s No. 1, Daisuke Ashihara’s World Trigger Vol. 30, places No. 2 in both brick-and-mortar and e-books and lands at No. 2 overall as well. The historical fantasy manga Arslan Senki (The Heroic Legend of Arslan) Vol. 25 debuts in the top three at No. 3, charting within the top 20 on three metrics: No. 4 in brick-and-mortar, No. 11 in EC and No. 6 in e-books.

Yu Nagira’s Nanji, Hoshi no Gotoku (You, Like a Star) — whose live-action film adaptation opened in theaters Oct. 9 — jumps 13-4, setting a new peak for the title. The novel tops both subscriptions and social media. Nagira’s Hoshi wo Amu, the sequel to Nanji, Hoshi no Gotoku, also rises 27-18.
