Over the years, we have had some outstanding portrayals of the Joker, so it is perhaps no surprise that we all have our favorite. Personally, mine is none other than Heath Ledger, who brought the villain to life back in 2008's The Dark Knight, but the role has also seen the likes of Jack Nicholson, Joaquin Phoenix, and Cameron Monaghan, to name but a few.

Now, to celebrate the upcoming launch of the Mayhem Collection DLC for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, a new Joker skin has been revealed.

When LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight launched earlier this year, it quickly became a fan-favorite, especially thanks to its large range of cosmetics for Batman and friends. As well as offering multiple different bat suits, there were also cosmetics for Robin and Catwoman, but it seems as though, for the launch of the Mayhem Collection, the Joker and Harley Quinn will take center stage, not only becoming playable characters, but also boasting some iconic looks.

In the base game, players were treated to cosmetics inspired by all of the comics, TV, and films set across the Batman universe, and these new additions are no exception. Revealed to ComicBook, the new outfit for the Joker sees him dripped out in a Hawaiian shirt, which is a nod to his appearance in 1998's Batman: The Killing Joke.

This outfit is a far cry from the villain's usual garb, but for those who are familiar with Batman: The Killing Joke, they will instantly recognize this new look. Wearing a Hawaiian shirt, complete with a camera hanging from his neck and even a purple hat, it is memorable to say the least, and Batman: The Killing Joke viewers will also know what the Joker was up to whilst wearing this outfit.

Alongside this brand-new Joker outfit, the Mayhem Collection DLC for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is also set to welcome a new “Sinister Pack”, which includes even more cosmetics for Batman, Catwoman, Commissioner Gordon, and the other playable characters from the main game.

However, the DLC itself will center around the Joker and Harley Quinn as players embark on a brand-new story mission which will see the pair escape from Arkham Asylum and taking to the streets of Gotham to cause a whole lot of chaos. Whilst the first new Joker cosmetic has been revealed, the other outfits that him and Harley will be sporting, have not, but with the Mayhem Collection DLC for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight expected to launch on 18 September, it will not be long before we find out what Traveller's Tales has been up to over the past few months.
