‘Helluva Boss’ Actor Lashes Out at NYCC Heckler: ‘I’m Going to Jump Over This Fence and End You’

It was a “helluva” time at New York City Comic-Con, where an audience remember interrupted the “Helluva Boss” panel by repeatedly shouting over the cast.

Following multiple attempts to silence the heckling, actor Brandon Rogers seemingly threatened the fan in a video posted online.

“You need to shut the fuck up right now,” Rogers said during the panel. “I’m going to jump over this fence and end you. It’s not cute.”

The fan continued to shout, which prompted the actor to get out of his seat and approach the audience, saying, “You need to get the fuck out right now, or I will make you leave.”

When nobody on the NYCC staff stepped in, Rogers asked, “Isn’t there someone in a vest? Bulletproof one, maybe?” After a bit of silence, he added, “Is anyone working this fucking event? Can someone please get this motherfucker the hell out of here? I swear to God.”

In a statement to Variety, a spokesperson for ReedPop wrote, “We are aware of a repeated disturbance from a fan in the audience during Thursday’s ‘Helluva Boss’ panel. While the situation was addressed after the panel, action was not taken swiftly enough, and we apologize to the panelists, moderator, and fans in attendance for the disruption. We are taking steps to ensure any future incidents are addressed in a swifter manner.”

The panel also featured Vivian Nichole Nixon, Erica Lindbeck, Bryce Pinkham, Harvey Guillén, Vivienne Medrano, Richard Steven Horvitz and Perri Nemiroff to discuss the animated series, which Rogers wrote and developed.
