Watch Rosalía Perform “Reliquia” En Pointe on SNL

Translate

Rosalía was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live last night. In an episode hosted by comedian Shane Gillis, she performed two songs from her 2025 album Lux: “Reliquia” and “Magnolias.” The former she performed entirely en pointe. She appeared in one sketch via thought bubble, tempting Gillis to leave his dying mother’s bedside to attend a Jelly Roll concert at the Sphere. Watch it go down below.

Ahead of the episode, Rosalía also popped up in a promo, where she shut down Kenan Thompson’s pitch to make “an album that blends pop and classical music in 14 languages.” (“That’s Lux, my album. I already made that,” she responds.) This was Rosalía’s third appearance on the show, having been introduced as Bad Bunny’s guest in 2021 before making her solo debut in 2022 in support of Motomami.

Rosalía is also the third musical guest on SNL’s ongoing 52nd season, following Turnstile and Katseye. Next week, Gracie Abrams will perform on an October 31 episode hosted by breakout Obsession star Inde Navarrette.
