Udinese are set to sack their coach, Runjaić, after earning just five points in the first ten league games of the campaign.

According to Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio, the Bianconeri have made their decision, which they will confirm in the coming hours.
Udinese lost 5-2 at home against Roma on Saturday, suffering their seventh defeat in ten league matches.
They have only won once and drawn twice so far and are currently in the relegation zone with five points.

Udinese have the league’s second-worst defence, conceding 23 goals. Only newly-promoted side Monza have more, with 24.
According to several sources, Paolo Zanetti is the leading candidate to replace Runjaic in the Udinese dugout.
Runjaić was appointed as the Udinese coach in 2024. The 55-year-old won 33 of 94 games, drew 18, and lost 43.
