Ruben Amorim could only laugh as AFC Bournemouth fans serenaded him with a chant reminding him of a 3-0 defeat against the Cherries while head coach of Manchester United as Milan fell to defeat by the same scoreline in the Europa League on Thursday night.
The Rossoneri were beaten 3-0 by Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Thursday evening after goals from Justin Kluivert, Marcus Tavernier and Amine Adli, the first two coming from the penalty spot.

Goalkeeper Mike Maignan was sent off for shoving Tyler Adams in the face prior to the second penalty, earning him widespread criticism in the Italian press on Friday morning.
This result leaves Milan with just three points from their first three matches in the Europa League in 2026-27, which leaves them in 24th place in the standings.
Towards the end of proceedings on Thursday night, the Milan head coach was treated to a chant of ‘Ruben Amorim, it’s happened again’ by the Bournemouth supporters, referring to a 3-0 defeat that Amorim had suffered while in charge of Manchester United back in December 2024.
The Portuguese tactician let out a smile and a chuckle while the chant rang around the Vitality Stadium.
