- Phase 1 data on Zymeworks' (ZYME) ZW191 found that the folate receptor alpha (FRα)-targeting antibody-drug conjugate led to strong anti-tumor activity in ovarian cancer patients that received many prior lines of therapy.
- In the 6.4 mg/kg dose group, the confirmed objective response rate (cORR) was 64.5% in individuals with high-grade serous platinum-resistant ovarian cancer. At the 9.6 mg/kg dose, the figure was 55.3%.
- cORRs were 69.2% in patients with high FRα expression, 50% in those with intermediate FRα expression, and 55% in individuals with low or negative FRα expression.
- The disease control rate was, respectively, 100% and 92.1%.
- In both dosage groups, six-month progression-free survival was 61% in both groups. Median PFS was 7.9 months at 6.4 mg/kg and 9.8 months at 9.6 mg/kg.
