Big Brother icon Gemma Collins is set to enter the house this week in latest housemate shake-up

Translate

Gemma Collins is reportedly set to re-enter the Big Brother house in the latest housemate shake-up. The star is of course no stranger to the franchise, having famously appeared in the 2016 season of Celebrity Big Brother.

Her iconic run at the time produced many famous moments, including much-memed lines such as "I'm claustrophobic Darren" and "get that fire exit door", as well as her feud with Tiffany Pollard.

According to The Sun, Gemma is now set for a return to the house this Friday as a guest for a few nights, following on from friends Jedward, and Michael 'Tays' Taylor.

Digital Spy has reached out to ITV for comment.

Jedward were at the centre of a huge row earlier in the season, known as 'splashgate', as the pair criticised Rhianna's relationship with Omar.

She left upset, with Lynx learning about their comments and deciding to confront the twins in the hot tub. Things then turned heated as the two splashed Lynx, before other housemates intervened.

Fans praised the scenes as "TV gold" and "fabulous entertainment", others suggesting that "old school BB is back".

Amid a dramatic season of the reality show, two new housemates – Twinks and Catrin – recently entered following the eviction of Johanne last week, immediately ruffling feathers. Last night's episode amped up the drama more with face-to-face nominations, with Rob and Pauline up for eviction this week.

Meanwhile, last month Gemma opened up to DS about the tragic passing of her mother Joan this year, 24 hours before Gemma was due to marry Rami Hawash.

Speaking about watching her new show Everything. All At Once after her mum's death, she shared: "It's a rollercoaster. When I watched it back, it was a killer because when I watched episodes 1 and 2 she died the next day.

"It’s been terribly difficult to watch it. In a way it’s nice because mum's in the show all the way through and I think that she’s still here - that was healing for me and gives me great comfort."

Big Brother airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
