Emraan Hashmi narrowly escapes accident on ‘Gunmaaster G9’ set as SUV crashes onto van during high-risk stunt, video goes viral

Emraan Hashmi reportedly had a close shave while shooting a dangerous stunt for his upcoming film ‘Gunmaaster G9’. A behind-the-scenes clip from the film’s climax sequence has surfaced online, showing an SUV flipping in the air before crashing onto a black van parked below.

The vehicle appears to come dangerously close to the actor during the stunt. The footage captures the crew getting ready for the sequence as someone calls out a countdown. Moments later, the SUV, which is suspended from a crane, turns upside down and crashes onto the roof of the van. While the clip has sparked concerns about the safety of the shoot, it remains unclear whether the sequence unfolded as planned or if an unexpected mishap occurred. There have been no reports of injuries so far. The film’s makers are yet to comment on the video or clarify the circumstances surrounding the stunt. The exact location where the sequence was filmed is also not known. The video has surfaced weeks before ‘Gunmaaster G9’ is scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on November 27, 2026. Directed by Aditya Datt, the action-romantic film features Emraan Hashmi alongside Genelia Deshmukh,

Aparshakti Khurana

and

. In August, the makers unveiled the first glimpse of the film, introducing Hashmi as Eshwar, a dairy farm owner willing to go to extraordinary lengths to protect the woman he loves.

The film’s shoot had earlier drawn attention in June when the crew reportedly faced objections from locals in Haridwar. A signboard reading ‘Bar and Café’ at the filming location led some residents to believe that an actual bar was operating in the holy city. The misunderstanding reportedly triggered a gathering of locals and disrupted the shoot.Producer Deepak Mukut subsequently addressed the issue, clarifying that the team had no intention of hurting anyone’s religious sentiments and that the matter was resolved after discussions with residents.Mukut also expressed surprise at the allegations, stating that he would never consider opening a bar in Haridwar, given that he is a Hindu.‘Gunmaaster G9’ follows Eshwar, a dairy farm owner whose determination to protect the woman he loves drives his actions. The film, directed by Aditya Datt, also stars Genelia Deshmukh, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Singh. It is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on November 27.
