The Traitors producer finally confirms how enigmatic new stage show will work: "It's a mad idea"

The producer of global hit The Traitors has confirmed how the enigmatic all new spin-off stage show will work, branding it a "mad idea".
The Traitors - Acts of Betrayal was announced at the start of this year and will debut at the Gillian Lynne Theatre in London in May 2027.
Whilst the excitement built for the new stage format of the hit series, there was one question on the lips of every hopeful fan - how on Earth is it going to work?
Now Stephen Lambert, the brain behind Traitor's production company Studio Lambert, has revealed exclusively to Radio Times just exactly what fans can expect.

"It’s all about how scripts can do what the unscripted cannot," says Lambert. "We will have five different plays, with different versions of who is a Traitor and who a Faithful.
"Nick Mohammed is hosting. Each week, five entirely different plays will run, and then every Saturday, the audience chooses who is going to be a Traitor.
"Yes, it’s a wholly mad idea, and nobody has done it before," he admits to Radio Times. "But London is a huge centre for theatre. And this show is profound and entertaining."
Every weekday performance will begin with the same premise before diverging into one of five separate narratives. So for instance, characters murdered early on a Monday may progress further, or even win, on the Thursday.
Saturday performances will take this one step further, with audiences being able to choose which character becomes one of the Traitors. Whoever they choose will determine which of the five plays is performed that night.
