Kendall Jenner finally addresses Cara Delevingne lesbian romance rumors: 'Never say never'

Kendall Jenner addressed the lesbian rumors that continue to swirl around her and long-time friend Cara Delevingne in the season eight trailer for Hulu's The Kardashians.

While the reality star, 30, stated that speculation about her dating Delevingne, 34, was false, she cheekily joked that she would have 'nothing against having sex with Cara.'

In doing so, Jenner, who sizzled in a new ad campaign for Intimissimi  earlier this week, may have inadvertently thrown more fuel on the fire.

The conversation was presaged by Caitlyn Jenner paying her daughter a visit and asking the dreaded question: 'So, since I never get to know, how’s the love life?'

The trailer cut to the brunette beauty speaking in a confessional where she stated: 'There’s definitely a rumor that Cara and I, like, dated, which is not true.'

Jenner and Delevingne were seen together in footage and a photo of them looking chummy.

The scene then switched to Jenner lounging with Delevingne at what appeared to be a L’Oreal photoshoot. Both are global brand ambassadors and models for the company.

'By the way, I have nothing against having sex with Cara,' Jenner said, holding a glass of wine.

'Never say never, right?' she added, prompting Delevingne to break into laughter.

The new season of The Kardashians premieres on October 8.

Hulu's promotional logline shared what viewers can look forward to in the coming weeks: 'For the Kardashian-Jenners, a new chapter starts now. This season is all about love, reinvention, and what comes next. Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie balance empire-building with something far more personal, from unexpected sparks and new relationships, to healing old wounds and embracing independence.

'As the family steps into this new era, they’ll discover that love, whether it’s self-love, family, or something new, might be the most powerful journey of all,' it concluded.

Jenner and Delevingne have been close friends for more than a decade after bonding behind the scenes of their lucrative fashion careers in 2014.

They even went so far as to give themselves a nickname, ‘CaKe,’ combining their first names.

Earlier this year, Jenner expressed her frustration over the rumors surrounding her sexuality.

'Then there's the whole side of the internet that thinks I'm a lesbian,' Jenner said on the In Your Dreams podcast in January.

'You want to know what really bothers me? How mean people are about it. It's not with, like, a welcoming arm of like, "Hey, if you were, yes, come join." It's not kind. It's very mean. It's very like, "What the f*** are you doing?"'

Although Jenner stressed that she isn't a lesbian, she wouldn't have any issues being public about her sexuality if she was.

'I understand that coming out is not an easy thing for anybody, if not most people. And I'm not saying that's an easy thing, but knowing, and I can speak for myself here, and knowing myself, I think at this point in my life I'd be out if I was,' she said.

‘I'm just saying that knowing me and knowing how I would want to live my life, I would be. I'd have no problem being that.

'I think that there's this whole narrative that I'm hiding this thing... I've seen really f***** up things that are like, "It's bad for business," and I'm like, "What? How?" I don't understand it.

'All's to say, as of today, I am not. I don't think I will be, but I'm not closing doors to experiences in life.'

Delevingne, who publicly confirmed she was a lesbian in a May interview with Variety, has been dating British singer Minke since 2022 while Jenner has been linked to actor Jacob Elordi since March. Above, Delevingne and Jenner in 2014

She has previously dated reggaeton superstar Bad Bunny and NBA player Devin Booker.

Delevingne revealed herself to be a 'proud' lesbian in a May interview with Variety.

She has been seeing British singer Minke since 2022. Prior to that, she dated singer-songwriter St Vincent and Pretty Little Liars actress Ashley Benson.    

Jenner, meanwhile, revealed that she reminds herself of her own worth on a 'daily' basis.

The runway star - who is one of the world's best-paid models - told People: 'Confidence starts with loving yourself and understanding that you’re worth everything beautiful in the world. I like to remind myself of that daily.'
