The Jagabanist Nationwide Support Group has called on its members across the country to intensify mobilisation for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu, saying his administration’s intervention programmes and policies have made continuity imperative.

The JNSG National Coordinator, Temitope Omotayo, said Tinubu had performed well across various sectors of the economy and given Nigerians a new lease of life, urging members to use the administration’s achievements to campaign for his re-election in 2027.

Omotayo spoke in Ado Ekiti on Saturday during the group’s National Conference for State Coordinators, where he called for sustained commitment to promoting the administration’s reforms, policies and programmes.

He said, “The Tinubu administration, since assuming office in 2023, has introduced and implemented several policies targeted at repositioning the country for development, and Nigerians are feeling the positive impact.”

Omotayo cited the student loan programme and the removal of fuel subsidy among the administration’s initiatives, saying the former had expanded access to tertiary education while the latter had freed resources to the states for development.

He said, “So, we have to campaign with the achievements across sectors for the re-election of President Tinubu to sustain his lofty programmes and policies and good governance which the country has witnessed in the last over three years.

“Take the campaign to the opposition party members; many of them are already confused in their parties, they can see the good works that the President is doing. Win their support and votes for Tinubu in the 2027 election.

“Based on the solid foundation that the President has laid in the first three years of his tenure, we need to encourage him to do more; that is why we should appreciate him with a greater number of votes in the 2027 election.”

The Ekiti State Coordinator of the group, Oyenike Akinlua, urged members to remain committed to the Jagabanist movement, stressing that effective mobilisation must begin at the grassroots.

Akinlua charged members to demonstrate dedication to the group’s objectives by engaging communities, strengthening political structures and encouraging wider participation in the movement.

Also speaking, the Anambra State Coordinator, Ebube Ezekafor-Ebubedike, expressed the group’s determination to secure an impressive outcome for Tinubu in the state in the 2027 election, in the spirit of what he described as progressive continuity.

In his address to the conference, the Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Adeoye Aribasoye, said grassroots members and supporters should be included in leadership development efforts to strengthen party structures and ensure continuity.

Aribasoye, who was represented by his Special Adviser, Kemisola Ajibola, stressed the importance of investing in leadership development and establishing effective succession plans within political parties.

JNSG state coordinators and representatives of the City Boys Movement attended the conference.
