銅箔基板「降規」鬼故事!外資最新看法來了

〔記者卓怡君/台北報導〕銅箔基板(CCL)產業昨日傳出降規的鬼故事,因CPO(矽光子)的發展,未來訊號在主晶片端直接轉換為光訊號送出,CCL降至M4等級材料即可滿足需求,影響CCL升級趨勢,消息一出,銅箔基板三雄台光電(2383)、台燿(6274)與聯茂(6213)昨股價跳水急殺,聯茂更被摜至跌停,台光電終場大跌7.67%,台燿重挫6.71%,對此美系外資出具最新看法,認為該技術發展在2028年之前對銅箔基板影響相當有限,若市場因CPO議題導致CCL族群出現股價回檔,反而可能提供逢低布局的機會。

美系外資指出,市場擔憂的主要原因在於,CPO將光學引擎與ASIC整合在封裝基板附近,可縮短原本需要經過PCB傳輸的高速電訊號路徑,因此可能降低對超低介電常數(Ultra-low Dk)、低介電損耗(Df)及高速CCL的需求,但這並不是一個全新的議題,過去已針對CPO對高速CCL需求的潛在影響進行過討論。從目前產業發展來看,CPO對CCL需求的影響,在不同AI系統架構下仍有所差異。

美系外資指出,這項議題對Scale-up(垂直擴展)架構尤其值得關注,但目前CPO的導入仍面臨成本、製造良率、可靠度、維修便利性以及散熱管理等多項挑戰。因此,在這些問題尚未獲得充分解決前,預期2028年以前,CPO導致整體AI系統CCL用量廣泛下降的風險仍相對有限。
