5 Emmerdale spoilers for tonight as Jacob disappears after baby bombshell

Emmerdale spoilers follow from Tuesday's episode (15 September), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn't aired on ITV1 yet.

In tonight's Emmerdale, the emotional fallout continues for Jacob and Sarah now that the truth about baby Leyla is out.

Elsewhere, Sadie and Robert continue to manipulate Nicola, and tensions build at Home Farm as the Tates prepare for Dawn's burial.

1. Jacob goes AWOL

After spending the night away from Jacob and baby Leyla, a struggling Sarah seeks them out at home but finds that they're both missing.

When a baffled Eric is unable to provide any answers, Sarah raises the alarm that Jacob has done a disappearing act following their furious row.

2. Ross to the rescue

Ross is the first person to track down Jacob, spotting him brooding at the cricket pavilion.

After explaining his role in the baby scandal, Ross apologises but also gives Jacob some tough love as he encourages the new father to step up for his family. With the wounds running so deep, is Jacob prepared to listen?

3. Sarah and Jacob come face to face again

Jacob heads to see Sarah at Wishing Well cottage, having had time to think about what the future holds.

Is Jacob prepared to give Sarah another chance for Leyla's sake? And is Sarah prepared to stand by the false statement she's given about Charity and Dr Todd?

4. Robert finds himself trapped

Sadie hands Nicola's house keys over to Robert – then distracts the grieving widow with a free lunch at The Hide.

Robert goes rooting around Nicola's place, desperately hoping to find the money that Jimmy stashed away before he died. However, when Rodney arrives home unexpectedly with Mary and Bear, a startled Robert is forced to hide in a cupboard!

5. Joe and Kim clash over the funeral

Joe is annoyed to find Kim consulting with Charles over plans for Dawn's funeral. He bitterly rejects the idea of a church service, insisting that Dawn should be buried on Home Farm land without anyone else's involvement.

Later, Joe agrees to a funeral – but makes it clear that he'll be the only guest! How will Kim respond to his erratic behaviour?
