Big Brother's Rochelle branded "nasty" by This Morning star amid Twinks rivalry

Translate

This Morning star Ashley James has weighed in on the latest controversy in the Big Brother house, branding current housemate Rochelle "nasty" in her rivalry with Twinks. James, who took part in Celebrity Big Brother back in 2018, appeared on The Group Chat following last night's episode, where she voiced her opinions about the "unkind" treatment of Twinks.

"It's like this weird, unkind vendetta against her," James said.

"I feel like it's natural in the house, right? You put all these people from different parts of the country, different genders, different ages... That's what we love about Big Brother," she said.

"It's a social experiment and you're naturally not gonna get on with people," she added. "But Rochelle can be like... nasty."

James added: "And I feel like no matter what Twinks does, she does get treated differently by 'the hierarchy'. It makes great television. I love to see the Rochelle and Twinks divide, but I don't like the hierarchy."

Meanwhile in the house, Omar has received a warning from Big Brother following backlash over his allegedly controlling behaviour towards fellow housemate Rhianna, with whom he had an in-house relationship.

During the show's latest episode, aired yesterday (21 October), Omar was called into the Diary Room, where he was told: "Big Brother wants to bring to your attention that at times, it appears that you are dismissing your fellow housemates' feelings and experiences, and not acknowledging the impact such behaviour could have on your fellow housemates and the viewing public."

"Some of your language used on more than one occasion and the behaviour you have exhibited could cause offense to your fellow housemates or the viewing public," Big Brother added.

Omar said he'd acknowledged his housemate's feelings and had a chat with Rhianna later on to clear the air.

Big Brother airs on ITV2 and ITVX.
