Naruto Mobile Game to Get Worldwide Release; Naruto Card Game Reveals Demo, Release Dates

Translate

The "NARUTO: What's Next?" panel at New York Comic Con announced on Saturday that the Naruto Mobile game, currently only available in Mainland China, will get a worldwide release. More details will be revealed at the Jump Festa '27 event, which will take place on December 19-20.

The original game launched in Mainland China in 2016.

Additionally, the event revealed more details about Naruto Card Game, a new trading card game in the franchise.

Studio Pierrot produced a trailer for the upcoming trading card game, which was played during the panel.

Select trading card game stores will host demos for the game from February 5-19 and February 19 through March 5, before a wider demo event at more stores on March 5-31.

The game will officially launch in June 2027. The game will have three starter decks centered around Naruto, Sasuke, and Gaara.

Bandai previously released the Naruto Collectible Card Game in 2006 until 2013.

Both projects are part of an overall "Project Rasengan" announced at the panel. "Project Rasengan" is a project that will "chart the future of Naruto and Boruto as it expands long term" through anime, manga, games and other media.

The event revealed a roadmap for the project from 2027 through 2029 that seemingly teased eight projects. The first four projects are the crossover Ninku anime, the upcoming trading card game from Bandai that will launch in June 2027, the upcoming worldwide release of Naruto Mobile, and the new manga by Masashi Kishimoto.
