Michael V. to host ‘Family Feud’ in Dingdong Dantes’ absence
Michael V. will serve as the special guest host of “Family Feud,” temporarily replacing regular host Dingdong Dantes who will be taking a break from his hosting duties.
Dantes announced this during the reality game show’s episode on Wednesday, Sept. 16.
“Dahil po sa walang sawa niyong pagtangkilik sa ‘The Master Cutter,’ at dahil kailangan kong tutukan ang mga paparating na taping ng programa para lalo pa itong mapaganda, pansamantala po akong magpapahinga bilang host ng ‘Family Feud,'” he said, referring to his ongoing GMA TV series.

“Pero ‘wag po kayong mag-alala dahil tuluy-tuloy pa rin po ang more tawa at more saya… dahil habang wala po ako ay sasamahan muna kayo ng isa sa mga iniidolo, iginagalang at minamahal ko at nating Kapuso—si Mr. Michael V,” he revealed.

Dantes nonetheless assured fans that he will return to the show “very very soon.”

Speaking about his hosting stint, the actor-comedian said, “Naku, napakasaya, miss na miss ko na ‘yung pagho-host. Matagal ko nang iniisip-isip ‘to eh, na-miss ko nga ba o hindi? Pero nung sumalang na ako dito sa ‘Family Feud,’ oo nga na-miss ko nga!”
Michael V also revealed adding certain “twists” to the show’s usual gameplay mechanics.

“Gusto ko ‘yung interaction, gusto ko ‘yung meeting new people at saka ‘yung mga sagot na binibigay nila para malaman mo ‘yung personality nila,” he continued.
