Sunrisers Hyderabad has traded in Tamil Nadu pacer T. Natarajan from Delhi Capitals instead of Uttar Pradesh spinner Zeeshan Ansari ahead of the 2027 IPL season, the league announced on Wednesday.

Natarajan played for the Sunrisers between 2020 and 2024 and broke into the Indian team on the back of his performances. He picked 19 wickets in IPL 2024, helping the side reach the final.

The left-armer was snapped up for INR 10.75 crore during the IPL 2025 player auction, but now moves back to his former team for a revised fee of INR 5 crore.

Zeeshan Ansari was snapped up by the Hyderabad-based team ahead of the 2025 season and played 10 encounters that season, picking six wickets.

His exploits in the 2025/26 Vijay Hazare Trophy earned him an India-A call-up for the tour of Sri Lanka.

Ansari will compete to be the lead spinner in the Capitals’ ranks after Kuldeep Yadav was traded out to Lucknow Super Giants.
