Nobody Wants This future confirmed by Netflix after season 3 cliffhanger

Translate

Nobody Wants This has been renewed for a fourth season by Netflix. The hit comedy series returned for its third season on October 22, and delivered the largest opening week for a returning comedy series this year.

Season three followed Joanne (Kristen Bell) and Noah (Adam Brody) as they moved in together, navigated religious conversion and family friction, while also secretly tying the knot.

The final episode ended on an almighty cliffhanger, with Sasha (Timothy Simons), Morgan (Justine Lupe), and Esther's (Jackie Tohn) messy dynamic becoming even more tangled.

Sasha had previously slept with Joanne's sister, Morgan, during a trip to New York, and in the last episode of season three, Joanne admitted she had feelings for Sasha.

However, Sasha said he wasn't ready to take the leap following his separation from Esther, whom he later reconnected with and slept with, despite her new relationship with Julian (Steven Weber).

Morgan and Esther both realised they had recently slept with Sasha during the finale, leading to a fiery confrontation left unresolved as the credits rolled.

Meanwhile, Noah's mother Bina (Tovah Feldshuh) is busy planning gigantic wedding celebrations for the couple, not knowing that they had already secretly tied the knot.

Speaking about the renewal, co-showrunners and executive producers Erin Foster, Jenni Konner, and Bruce Eric Kaplan said in a statement: "We are so happy and thrilled to do another season of our favourite show on television, which coincidentally is the one we run."
