The BBC’s much-anticipated third installment of Blue Planet, once again narrated by David Attenborough, who turned 100 earlier this year, will also feature top musical talent to help bring nature’s stories, and particularly marine species, to life. The U.K. public broadcaster on Tuesday unveiled that the upcoming Blue Planet III, a series of six hour-long episodes for BBC One, iPlayer and BBC America from the BBC Studios Natural History Unit, will feature an original song from Hans Zimmer and former Little Mix member Jade Thirlwall, widely known as simply Jade.

The song, entitled “Into the Deep (Seas Cry),” was unveiled on Tuesday, receiving its first-ever public play on BBC Radio 1.

The nature program is set to premiere later this year. The BBC Studios Natural History Unit spent about four and a half years putting together the highly anticipated return to the world’s oceans.

Season 2 of Blue Planet featured an original song from Radiohead and Zimmer with the BBC Concert Orchestra.

“I’m thrilled that David is taking the helm of Blue Planet once again,” said Jack Bootle, BBC head of specialist factual commissioning, earlier this year. “His extraordinary talent for storytelling has shaped the way generations of audiences understand and connect with the natural world, and his voice remains synonymous with the very best of the BBC’s natural history output.”

Added Jonny Keeling, head of the BBC Studios Natural History Unit: “We are so excited to have David narrate this new blockbuster series. It’s full of never-before-seen animal behavior, new locations, new science and heartfelt storytelling. David is the perfect voice to inspire audiences across the globe to love, understand and protect the oceans.”

Jade’s social media accounts also shared the news of the new song’s premiere on Tuesday, including a post that told fans: “The vocals are insane!”
