Latin Music’s Independent Revolution | Billboard Latin Music Week 2026
It’s no secret that independent music entrepreneurs have been driving much of the growth of Latin music globally. Virgin Music Group executives Nat Pastor (co-CEO) and Víctor González (evp, president of Latin America, U.S. Latin and Spain) will offer a wide-ranging discussion on the rise of Latin music globally and how independent labels and artists are the engine behind much of this global success.
The 2026 Billboard Latin Music Week takes place from Oct. 19 to 22 at the Faena Forum Miami Beach, Fla., serving as a dynamic platform celebrating the heartbeat of Latin music and culture, with a packed week of programming that includes artist conversations, panels, live performances, hands-on workshops, brand activations, networking opportunities and more. Latin Music Week also coincides with the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards, set for Thursday, Oct. 22, airing live on Telemundo and Peacock.
