KUALA LUMPUR: MCBA director-general Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain will be charged at the Sepang Magistrate's Court tomorrow.

A source said Shuhaily would be charged under Section 323 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt to two policemen at KLIA Terminal 1 on Sept 28, according to Berita Harian.

On Oct 17, Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said the Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC) had recently returned the investigation papers to the police for further action.

He said the A-GC had requested several improvements to the investigation papers before deciding on the next course of action.

"The police are still completing the investigation. The A-GC informed us that several improvements need to be made to the investigation papers.

"The investigation papers contain statements recorded from witnesses and all information gathered during the investigation before they were submitted to the A-GC.

"The A-GC must be fully satisfied with the findings of the investigation before making a decision. Usually, if it is not satisfied, the A-GC will return the investigation papers to the police for further action," he said.

Saifuddin said the police had been directed to complete the investigation in accordance with the A-GC's requirements.
