The Kollywood action-comedy thriller scored 11.2 crore on its third Sunday, day 18. Compared to day 17’s 9.35 crore, it displayed a jump of 19.79%. Overall, the film has reached a grand total of 455.95 crore net at the Indian box office, which equals 538.04 crore gross. With this, it has become Kollywood’s first-ever 450 crore net grosser.
Given the pace, Jailer 2 has a chance to enter the 500 crore club as well. Yes, Ramayana will hog the limelight in the coming days, but Rajinikanth’s film is expected to enjoy its share of the audience, especially in Tamil Nadu.
