Kenny Chesney to Bring Eric Church, Sheryl Crow on 2027 Stadium Tour

The Original Vibe Room Tour 2027 kicks off April 24 in Tampa and runs through late August

Kenny Chesney is moving on from the Sphere this spring and taking old friends Eric Church and Sheryl Crow with him. Launching April 24 in Tampa, the Original Vibe Room Tour 2027 will comprise only stadium shows, including a date at the yet-to-open new Nissan Stadium in Nashville. 

“When we started to talk about touring next year, all I could think about was how good those stadiums feel,” Chesney said in a statement. “To make it really hit, I called Eric, who’d come out that first weekend in [Las] Vegas and sang a few with me, to see if he’d want to do this. He was in. Then to give fans a twist, something a little different, but someone who rocks and everyone in No Shoes Nation loves, I asked Sheryl Crow if she wanted to come play with us; and she said, ‘Yes.’ Suddenly, we’ve got all that high-powered energy, and it was starting to feel the same way we did way back in the day.”

Chesney was the first country artist to headline the Sphere, where he played a residency for the past two years. Church, meanwhile, has spent 2026 on his Free the Machine tour, and recently dropped a new song, “On the Road,” that pays tribute to 20 years as a touring artist. Chesney and Church were first road partners in 2013, for the No Shoes Nation Tour, when Church was an opening act and also joined Chesney during his headlining set. 

Crow, who was honored Sept. 14 in Nashville with the BMI Troubadour Award, has fans in both Church and Chesney. Church even admitted to having a Crow poster up in his teenage bedroom when he accepted an award at the ACM Honors in August.

Also joining the Original Vibe Room Tour 2027 lineup will be Greylan James, who hails from Chesney’s birthplace of East Tennessee. Tickets go on sale Sept. 25.
