“Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir,” the blockbuster French animated series, is gearing up for a global rollout of its seventh season across Disney, France’s TF1 and Brazil’s Globo.

Miraculous Corp, the joint venture between Mediawan and ZAG, has unveiled a staggered release schedule for the 26-episode season, which will premiere on Globo in Brazil on Oct. 30, followed by TF1 in France on Nov. 1 and Disney Channel across Europe, the Middle East and Africa on Nov. 14.

In the U.S. and Latin America, the new season will debut on Disney Channel on Nov. 20 before launching on Disney+ the following day.

The rollout comes as “Miraculous” enters its second decade with a growing international footprint. The series outperformed 850 school-age and preschool children’s programs tracked worldwide, according to audience demand data from Parrot Analytics covering June 21 to Sept. 18. It also ranked fourth among all television series globally during that period, making it the only children’s show to crack the top 10.

“Season 7 comes at a moment of strong momentum for ‘Miraculous,’ and this coordinated rollout reflects the continued strength of our longstanding broadcast partnerships,” said Maria Doolan, Miraculous Corp’s head of content partnerships and distribution. “We value the collaboration that has helped the series reach audiences across key markets and are excited to build on that foundation as we bring Season 7 to viewers across their platforms.”

Produced in collaboration with Disney Kids & Family, Brazil’s Globosat, Italy’s KidsMe and France’s TF1, the new season will continue to follow the adventures of Marinette and Adrien, two Parisian teenagers who transform into superheroes Ladybug and Cat Noir. In Season 7, Marinette’s decisions begin to have greater consequences for both her personal life and her responsibilities as Ladybug, as shifting friendships and relationships complicate her efforts to protect Paris. The new episodes will also introduce new superpowers and more enemies.

Since its launch, “Miraculous” has grown into one of France’s biggest international animation franchises, spanning six seasons distributed in more than 150 countries, along with television specials, a feature film, video games, live events and consumer products.

While the animated show is about to return on the air, a live-action series in currently in development at See-Saw Films, the Oscar and Emmy-winning powerhouse behind “Slow Horses.” which is part of Mediawan.
