KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia opened mixed on Friday ahead of the tabling of 2027 Budget today, despite overnight losses on Wall Street.
The benchmark index opened at 1,602 points before slipping to the 1,600 level.
It is expected to trade within the 1,600 to 1,615 range.
Dagang NeXchange Bhd emerged as the most actively traded stock after the company and CGP Fund resolved their long-running shareholder dispute over SilTerra Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
In the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin hovered at a lower level of RM334,105, while Ethereum also traded lower at RM10,119.
