Done Deal: Neto will be new Juventus goalkeeper as free agent

Free agent Neto has agreed a contract with Juventus to June 2027, claim multiple reports, making his return to the club after the Kamil Grabara injury.
The Bianconeri completely revamped their goalkeeping staff this summer, with Guglielmo Vicario on loan from Tottenham Hotspur and Grabara allowing Michele Di Gregorio and Mattia Perin to move on.
However, Grabara was ruled out for four to seven months after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee during a training session.
Juventus turn to Neto
Needing a replacement and with the transfer window shut, Juventus looked around at the free agents and settled upon a familiar face.
Neto had already worn the Bianconeri jersey from 2015 to 2017, and before that played in Serie A for Fiorentina.
He has since represented Valencia, Barcelona, Bournemouth, Arsenal and Botafogo, but is coming full circle.
Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio, Matteo Moretto and more all confirm the agreement has been reached for a contract to the end of the current campaign.
The 37-year-old Brazilian will undergo a medical before putting pen to paper for the Old Lady.
