Target adds more style to its in-house Threshold brand

Target Corporation (TGT) unveiled a major refresh of Threshold on Monday. Threshold is considered the retailer's biggest in-house home brand. The update adds more than 800 new items and new shopping layouts in all stores and online. The goal is to help shoppers find stylish, well-designed home products at affordable prices.
The changes cover both the products and the shopping experience. Target (TGT) noted early results are encouraging. Refreshed products already in stores, including throws, decorative accessories, and candles, are seeing double-digit growth. Store tests of new product displays have raised sales and units by a mid-single-digit percentage. Target (TGT) plans to keep adding new styles to Threshold so it stays a go-to place for home goods.
"As we've refreshed Threshold throughout the year and continue to rebuild our home business, it's exciting to see how guests are already responding to the merchandising authority we bring with a range of styles, elevated design, and incredible value," highlighted Target Senior Vice President Mara Sirhal.
Notably, the Threshold brand brings in nearly $3B a year.
Shares of Target (TGT) are up more than 50% on a year-to-date basis.
