Romblon town suspends classes, school work on Oct. 5 for Teachers’ Day
CALAPAN CITY — The local government of Cajidiocan in Romblon has suspended classes in all public elementary and secondary schools on Oct. 5 in observance of National Teachers’ Day and World Teachers’ Day.
The suspension also covers work for teaching and non-teaching personnel in public schools, according to Executive Order No. 073, series of 2026, issued by Mayor Marvin R. Ramos.

The order provides school personnel an opportunity to participate in activities marking the annual celebration honoring teachers and recognizing their contribution to education. /jpv
