The tiny but very popular Nex Playground just got its first major saving in the Amazon October Prime Day.

The family-orientated device is now on sale for up to £65 off at the retail giant, reduced from £269 to £204.

The Nex, which sits at just around the size of an apple, launched in June and garnered a four-stars from our gaming experts, owing to its playful design and intuitive design.

The device is small, green and yellow cube that will sit just under your TV, with a plug and a HDMI cable included to get you connected. Much like predecessors such as the Nintendo Wii, the device uses its camera to track you in order to play movement-based games such as tennis and bowling.

The Nex Playground will normally set you back £269, and the developers throw in five free games to get you started – Fruit Ninja, Party Fowl, Whac-a-Mole, Starri and Go Keeper. The rest of the games are all available on one subscription, which costs £90 per year or £45 per quarter.

Here's how you can save £65 today.

Buy Nex Playground for £269 £204 at Amazon

What is the Nex Playground Amazon Prime Day deal?

The Nex Playground has been reduced from £269 to £204 at Amazon as part of the October Prime Day. This is the first major saving of this kind since the console was released in June.

The device is also available for £214 at Argos and Smyths.

How long will the Nex Playground deal last?

Amazon's October Prime Day ends today (7 October), however some deals tend to stick around for longer. If you come to it late, I'd suggest going to some of the other retailers like Smyths.

Where to buy the Nex Playground for £65 off

The Nex Playground is available for £65 off at Amazon and £55 off at Smyths and Argos. Currently all three are well stocked.
