Drake’s ‘HABIBTI (FOMO)’ Deluxe: All 4 New Songs Ranked
Drake turned a handful of tracks premiered during his FOMO short film into a four-pack of songs that landed on streaming services on Friday (Oct. 2).
The 6 God initially teased that a “bunch of songs” would be coming to DSPs earlier this week while streaming a gambling session on Kick.
“Go watch FOMO. It’s a bunch of songs coming to streaming on Thursday,” Drake said. “So, all the songs that you guys have been asking [about]. Well, not all of them. Enough of them are coming on Thursday. That’s it.”
The foursome includes a pair ofDon Toliver collaborations, including “Solar Eclipse,” which is best known for Drake’s interpolation of Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” anthem that’s spending a record 24th week atop the Billboard Hot 100.
Fans also got their wish as the dynamic “Cold Shoulder” featuring Toliver was brought to DSPs, along with an extended version of HABIBTI’s “Classic” and “Quebec.”
Drake’s four-pack arrives a week after Taylor Swift employed a similar strategy with her foursome of new tracks packaged as The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore.
It remains to be seen if the hype and appetite for Drizzy’s fresh tunes is as fervent as a few weeks ago when it comes to his future charting success, since all four songs were debuted on Sept. 15 in Fear of Missing Out.
Either way, Drake fans are eating well in 2026 and the 6 God’s creative juices are flowing effortlessly. Back in May, Drizzy picked up a 15th No. 1 album atop the Billboard 200 with ICEMAN and he notched a 14th No. 1 smash on the Billboard Hot 100 thanks to “Janice STFU.”
Drake’s May trifecta (ICEMAN, HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR) also made history with the OVO boss becoming the first artist to ever hold the top three slots on the Billboard 200 simultaneously.
Here are all four tracks from the HABIBTI (FOMO) deluxe ranked below.
-
“Quebec”
Premiered during FOMO, the lavish visual finds Drake flexing his life of luxury, including a diamond-encrusted watch, a rare Jaguar and a Cam’ron-inspired pink Range Rover. “Quebec” is Drake having fun again, which is a positive sign in 2026 as he turns his kitchen into an Ibiza dance party, but it’s more of a warm-up or lyrical exercise to get the creativity flowing, making it the least formidable of the new four-pack.
-
“Classic PT2”
A second version of HABIBTI’s “Classic” was left on the cutting room table back in May, and while fans are sure to be at each other’s throats about which version is superior, at least the OVO faithful can enjoy both. The 6 God removes the halftime beat switch and raunchy Jus’ Cauze sample, in exchange for a second verse and bringing back the sticky chorus that’s one of the best on HABIBTI. It’s Drizzy ad-libbing himself and Drake featuring Drake has always proven to be a potent combination.
-
“Solar Eclipse” Feat. Don Toliver
Drake is rap’s chameleon. He can absorb a trending wave or niche pocket of music and make it his own. It’s no secret Drizzy has been on a country kick in recent months. He had his cowboy hat on for HABIBTI opener “Rusty Intro” and hasn’t been shy about his affinity for Ella Langley, wearing his Ella Fella ties proudly. Drizzy championed Langley as having the “goated pen” and attended her Arkansas show in August.
The 6 God knows a thing or two about topping the charts, so it’s no surprise he interpolated Langley’s record-breaking smash “Choosin’ Texas,” which he turned into the engine of a woozy R&B track. The themes are aligned with what’s dominating country, as Drake drinks his sorrows away while a woman he enjoys the company of slips away. He invites Houston’s own Don Toliver into the fold, which is also Drake’s second home, who pulls up with his own bottle of yak and opens up about relationship issues stressing him out between grungy guitar strums.
-
“Cold Shoulder” Feat. Don Toliver & Yebba
The crown jewel of FOMO. If there was one track to make it out of Drake’s Fear of Missing Out short film, it’s “Cold Shoulder.” Speculation had been building that Drizzy and Don Toliver would join forces, and “Cold Shoulder” surpasses expectations. Yebba’s additional vocals are amplified in the chorus, and the crisp CDQ version sounds more polished than the livestream heard in September. Drake shines with a silky hook, while passing the baton to Don Toliver and his husky flow. Drizzy hops back in line to shame a woman for turning her back on him, but he’s not giving up just yet.
“Cold Shoulder” could’ve been an ICEMAN standout, or launch Toliver into Nitrous if he is looking to spin the block and drop his OCTANE follow-up before 2026 is out. It will be interesting to see if the hype has died down since the track’s debut weeks ago, because as a standalone single, this has the legs to be a chart juggernaut.
