The 20th edition of the Asian Games at Aichi-Nagoya in Japan is set to begin on September 19, 2026, and will continue on till October 4.

India’s contingent for the continental tournament includes 503 athletes (269 men, 234 women) across 36 sports, supported by 246 coaches and officials, taking the total delegation to 768 members.

India’s delegations have grown from a 151-strong home contingent in 1951 to squads routinely exceeding 500 athletes in recent editions, reflecting India’s broader sporting participation.
