UFC 333 got both its championship fights locked, because Alexander Volkanovski, Movsar Evloev, Petr Yan and Merab Dvalishvili all made weight before Saturday's card in Abu Dhabi. Volkanovski weighed 144.5 pounds for his featherweight title defense, and Evloev hit 145. Yan and Dvalishvili both registered 135 pounds for their bantamweight title trilogy. Biggest problem of the weigh-ins came from preliminary fighter Nicolle Caliari, who stepped on the scale at 120.5 pounds for her strawweight fight against Iasmin Lucindo. Her bout will go ahead at catchweight, but Caliari forfeits 30 percent of her purse. Rest of the fighters made weight.

Volkanovski and Evloev lead the championship lineup

Volkanovski will defend his featherweight championship against undefeated contender Evloev in the main event. Both of them cleared the scale, so the five-round title fight stays on track.

Then comes the co-main event, where Yan faces Dvalishvili for the bantamweight championship. It's their third meeting, and both fighters came in at exactly 135 pounds. Nobody had any advantage on the scale there.

Besides these, the rest of the main card also cleared the scale. Here's how the other fighters weighed in:

  • Lone'er Kavanagh vs. Ramazan Temirov: 125.5 vs. 126 pounds
  • Alexander Volkov vs. Rizvan Kuniev: 256 vs. 265 pounds
  • Aaron Pico vs. Losene Keita: 145.5 vs. 146 pounds

So, no other main-card fighter missed the required weight.

Nicolle Caliari misses the strawweight limit by 4.5 pounds

Caliari weighed 120.5 pounds for her preliminary bout against Lucindo, who registered 115 pounds. The non-title strawweight limit allowed up to 116 pounds, which leaves Caliari 4.5 pounds over the permitted mark. The fight will still happen, but at catchweight.

Remaining preliminary and early-preliminary fighters all made weight. Their official numbers include:

  • Azamat Murzakanov vs. Dominick Reyes: 206 vs. 205 pounds
  • Nikita Krylov vs. Abdul Rakhman Yakhyaev: 206 vs. 206 pounds
  • Abus Magomedov vs. Cam Rowston: 185.5 vs. 185 pounds
  • Grant Dawson vs. Nurullo Aliev: 156 vs. 155 pounds
  • Colby Thicknesse vs. Asaf Chopurov: 135.5 vs. 136 pounds
  • Abubakar Vagaev vs. Jacob Malkoun: 185.5 vs. 186 pounds
  • Bolaji Oki vs. Daniel Santos: 146 vs. 146 pounds
  • Kody Steele vs. Noah Gugnon: 156 vs. 156 pounds

UFC 333 takes place Saturday, October 24, in Abu Dhabi. Early prelims begin at 10 a.m. ET, followed by the prelims at noon, and the main card starts at 2 p.m. ET on Paramount+.
