Translate

Former Plateau United midfielder Kazeem Adeyanju has completed a move to South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) side Stellenbosch on a free transfer.

Adeyanju, who featured for Plateau United in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) last season, has now been cleared to feature for Stellenbosch in the 2026/27 campaign.

“Stellenbosch Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Nigerian midfielder Adeyanju Kazeem on a free transfer,” the club announced.

“Having concluded all formalities last month, Stellenbosch FC has bolstered its ranks with the acquisition of Adeyanju Kazeem, who most recently plied his trade in the Nigerian PFL with Plateau United.

“He will become the fifth Nigerian player to represent Stellenbosch, following in the footsteps of Stanley Dimgba, Ibraheem Jabaar, Kazie Enyinnaya, and Olisa Ndah.

“Kazeem will wear the No. 29 jersey this season and could be in line to make his debut when the Club takes on Kaizer Chiefs in the Betway Premiership on Tuesday evening.”
