‘More than one’: Psychic on Ekurhuleni ‘serial killer’

Translate

US psychic medium Kandis Starr has shared her views on claims that there is a serial killer on the loose in Ekurhuleni after the bodies of nine women were discovered in recent weeks.

The woman – known for sharing her supernatural readings with the “spirits” of Joslin Smith, Anele Tembe, AKA and Costa Titch – claimed that there was “more than one” perpetrator.

The nine women were found partially clothed and had been sexually assaulted.

US PSYCHIC ON EKURHULENI SERIAL KILLER

Speaking in a YouTube video, Kandis Starr shared a video of her spirit reading into what she believes happened to the murdered Ekurhuleni women, and who she claims was behind their violent deaths.

Kandis described the crimes as a “war against women” and added that the victims “deserved a voice”.

During her reading, the spirit medium claimed to have seen two perpetrators she believes are behind the Ekurhuleni murders.

She said, “This feels like a copycat. It doesn’t feel like one person”

Kandis claimed that while one felt powerful and entitled, the other one was scared and nervous.

She added that both became more “confident” the more they committed sexual assault and murder, and got away with it.

The woman alluded to one possibly being an e-hailing driver.

“I can see a man driving, I don’t know if they are stalking their prey…He drives for a living. He’s always in the car”

“He drives specifically to these areas to do this”.

The other, she claims, held a position of authority.

She added, “These are psychopaths. They hate women. They are so sick in their heads”.

INVESTIGATIVE EXPERTS WEIGH IN

Unlike psychic Kandis Starr, who uses her spiritual insight as a means of paranormal justice, investigative experts are relying on evidence to solve the case of the slain Ekurhuleni women.

And this holds true on claims that a serial killer is behind the murders.

Investigative forensic psychologist and former head of the SAPS Investigative Psychology Section, Gérard Labuschagne, stated that the cases of the nine women should be treated as a serial murder investigation until evidence suggested otherwise.

He pointed to similarities in geographical proximity, timeframe, and victims’ profiles as reasons to suggest this.

However, he added that investigators needed to establish a connection between the individual murders.

Former SAPS investigator and criminal profiler Elmarie Myburgh added that police needed to compare the crime scenes, victim information, forensic evidence and differences in how the killings were carried out.

Dr Micki Pistorius, also a forensic psychologist and former SAPS profiler, added that pathology results and DNA could potentially provide crucial links.
