The ongoing second ODI between India and West Indies at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati has broken the record for most hundreds in a game with five.
West Indies posted a formidable total of 405/7 in its 50 overs after centuries from John Campbell (101), Shai Hope (104) and Amir Jangoo (114).
In its chase, India is in a commanding position thanks to hundreds from Shubman Gill (144*) and Rohit Sharma (100*).
Pakistan vs Australia (1998), India vs Australia (2013) and Pakistan vs Sri Lanka (2023) held the previous record for most hundreds (4) in an ODI.
