HARIDWAR: Surinder Koli, acquitted in the Nithari murder case, was found dead after allegedly dying by suicide inside a tea kiosk on Sapt Sarovar Road near Lal Mata Temple in Haridwar on Friday morning.Koli, 50, had been living in Haridwar for the past few months and had recently rented the tea stall. Haridwar police claimed Surendra Kohli committed suicide by hanging, no suicide note has recovered so far.Police reached the spot after receiving information around 11 am on Friday. Prima facie, family disputes are suspected to be the reason behind the suicide.Koli and businessman Moninder Singh Pandher were accused in the 2006 Nithari serial killings, which came to light after skeletal remains of eight children were found in a drain behind Pandher’s house in Noida.
