An 11-member contingent will represent India in boxing at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, between September 19 and October 4.
Some notable names who will be in action include Sachin Siwach, Preeti Pawar, Sakshi Chaudhary, Ankush Panghal, and Priya Ghanghas. All of them won gold at the Commonwealth Games, along with Lovlina Borgohain, Jadumani Singh, and Narendar Berwal, who won the silver medal.

In the last edition of the Asian Games, India won three medals, including one silver and three bronze medals. Parveen Hooda also won bronze in the 57 kg category but was later stripped off it after she received a doping suspension.
The Indian boxing team will enter the upcoming edition high on confidence, having achieved its best ever medal tally at the 2026 Commonwealth Games—10 medals, including seven gold and three silver.
