Odisha continued its winning run at the Senior Men’s National Hockey Championship 2026, beating Kerala 9-0 in a Division B Pool A match in Jhansi on Sunday.

After a goalless opening quarter, Odisha scored twice in the second, five times in the third and twice in the final quarter. Anmol Ekka struck four penalty corners, while captain Dipsan Tirkey scored twice. Sudeep Chirmako, Aryan Xess and Ritik Lakra also got on the scoresheet as Odisha took its tally to 27 goals in two matches, conceding just once.

In the other Pool A match, Uttarakhand bounced back from its opening defeat to edge Assam 3-2. Vishal Kumar, Mohd Rushan and Vivek Sharma scored for Uttarakhand after Ritik Patir had put Assam ahead. Ramesh Shahu pulled one back for Assam late in the contest.

In Pool B, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu registered its second successive win, beating Arunachal 2-1 through Ali Haider’s 59th-minute winner after Manoj Yadav had cancelled out Kushal Bopaiah’s opener.

Jharkhand also registered a 4-1 victory over Goa in the same pool. After Tejas Chavan gave Goa the lead, Atish Dodrai, Denis Kerketta, Dilbar Barla and Joseph Kongari scored for Jharkhand.

In Division C Pool A, Himachal recovered from its opening defeat to beat Mizoram 4-2, with Sahil and Hardeep Singh scoring twice each. Dharmendra Pal netted both goals for Mizoram.
