Saya Gray Drops Qwerty III EP

Translate

With less than a week’s warning, Saya Gray has shared the third entry in her series of work-in-progress Qwerty EPs. The 7-track Qwerty III is the sequel to 2024’s Qwerty II and 2023’s Qwerty. You can stream it below.

“Q EPs are experiments between projects,” Gray elaborated in a statement accompanying the release. “The throwaways. The cathartic moments that don’t fit between eras of change.” She continued, “I feel weird because we’re living in a weird world, and these lil mixtapes are my documentation of that feeling.”

Last year saw Gray put out the LP Saya, which she claimed as her proper debut album (she’d previously released the full-length 19 Masters in 2022). This Monday, November 9, Gray will play the new songs from Qwerty III live at a free house show at 526 W 114th Street in New York.
