Coronation Street hints at unfinished business for Asha’s new romance story

Coronation Street has hinted at some unfinished business in Asha Alahan's romance with Sienna Milburn.
Viewers know that Asha started seeing her former paramedic colleague, Sienna, earlier this year, though their romance was short-lived.
Sienna ended things with Asha last month after Asha accompanied Sienna, her brother Tristan and their mum, Sadie, to look at nursing homes amid Sienna's mum's dementia storyline.

After Sienna's mum had a moment of lucidity, Asha tried to comfort Sienna, telling her they would try to look at homes again in a few days.
Sienna told Asha to stop pressuring her, saying that she wasn't ready to "lock [her] mum up".
"I think it's maybe best if we just stop this," Sienna said. "I really need to be there for my mum at the moment and I just don't have the time or the energy for a relationship. I'm sorry."
In next week's scenes, Asha is nervous about returning to work where she will see Sienna again.
Later, Asha meets up with the girls, and they sympathise with each other over their history of failed relationships.
"Asha’s preparing to resume her paramedic training," said our Corrie insider. "But she feels awkward about the idea of seeing her ex Sienna again.
"She’s supported by her besties Summer and Amy, but could Asha heading back to work lead to a reunion with Sienna, or could it confirm that they’re not meant to be?"
Meanwhile, Summer’s new romance is set to kick off next week as she catches the eye of newcomer Marco.

At Roy's, Marco compliments Summer on one of her drawings, which disappears when she goes to the toilet, leaving her notepad unattended.
Summer confronts Marco after finding her stolen illustration in the tattoo shop window, and he admits he took it to see her again before asking her for a drink.
"Summer has been single for a while now," said our source. "She’s been through a lot over the last several months, so that makes sense, but now things have quietened down, it could be the right time to start dating again."
Coronation Street airs on weeknights at 8.30pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
